Members of the Dallas Art Dealers Association are pledged to the maintenance of a high standard of ethical conduct, a warranty to consistent public service and a dedication to professional integrity. The good will earned by our adherence to these principals will not only enable our galleries to flourish but will also have a lasting impact on the cultural life of Dallas.

  • Members are committed to a constant program of self-education to gain the mastery of knowledge necessary to their profession and to give freely of this knowledge to the community when appropriate.

 

  • Members treat each other with honesty, integrity and good faith.
  • Members work for the success of the organization, individually and as a group.
  • Members offer artworks that are original creations, which do not violate copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
  • Members promote artworks and artists in a fair and non-misleading manner.
  • Members are sensitive to their clients needs, respectful and protective of their privacy.
  • Members avoid any impropriety, conflict of interest and any unfair or predatory trade practices.
  • Members commit to truth in advertising and standing behind what they sell. Members are well informed about the artwork they represent.
  • Members comply with all applicable Texas and federal commercial laws and regulations.
  • Members agree to discuss any disagreement and or issue, with full disclosure, in DADA meetings.

All members are required to sign ethics statement annually when paying dues.
