Ro2 Art is proud to present Not Really There by North Texas artist Benjamin Terry. The opening reception will take place Saturday, January 28 from 7 to 10pm, and will run through February 29, 2012. The exhibition will take place at Ro2 Art’s Uptown gallery, located at 3699 McKinney Avenue #310 in the West Village neighborhood of Dallas.
For Not Really There, Terry presents a series of new paintings which combine representational images and the chaos of ephemeral composition. Working with memory, fantasy, dreams, and time, the artist uses multiple selves to creates a narrative sequence reflecting on ideas of internal conflict, self doubt, and emotional trauma.
