Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) Presents The Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) presented its annual Fall Gallery Walk and Panel Discussions on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. The Gallery Walk featured 33 of DADA’s member galleries, museums, and nonprofit art spaces throughout the Dallas metroplex. This FREE event allows art lovers to socialize and roam (in a car) from gallery to gallery all in one day.

Norwood Flynn Gallery presented DADA’s Edith Baker Art Scholarship Winner Show, a juried show featuring senior visual art students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Proceeds benefit the student artists and DADA’s Edith Baker Art Scholarship. The exhibition and reception were free. Panel Discussions provided education for artists and members of the public. Panel 1 covered “Career Choices 101: Being Smart about Your Career as an Artist.” Panel 2 covered “Art and Economics 101: Pricing and Protection of Art in Today’s Economy.” Proceeds benefit the Edith Baker Art Scholarship.
