And, the relationship between DADA and Creative Arts Center of Dallas just keeps getting better.
Not only has the Creative Arts Center been a longtime DADA Friend, but it has begun to sponsor our panel discussions held every spring and fall. And, this fall to help celebrate the CAC’s 45th anniversary, DADA and CAC will present 2 panel discussions at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center about Oak Cliff, the neighborhood where CAC began. the Oak Cliff-based discussions will be held at the original location in the OC.
Be sure to check out the CAC’s juried membership show at the Mary Tomás Studio Gallery, 1080 Bldg @ 1110 Dragon Street, in the Dallas Design District.The juried show is a varied as the classes offered at CAC, including several works of sculpture, mosaic, fused glass, metal arts, painting, photography and mixed media. Judges were artists Lottie Minick, Cathy Drennan of Cohn Drennan Contemporary and Mary Tomás of Mary Tomás Studio Gallery.
The membership show runs until Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and Saturdays noon until 5 p.m.
