Art lovers of every description will have the opportunity to socialize and tour a full spectrum of galleries and special exhibitions — all in one day. DADA Bike Swarm now featuring Art Cars
Saturday, April 26, 1:30-5 p.m.

Cyclists of all age levels and abilities are invited to the Dallas Art Dealers Association, Bike Friendly Oak Cliff, Bike Friendly Cedars, Bike Friendly Deep Ellum and Bike Friendly Design District’s Bike Swarm as part of the DADA Spring Gallery Walk on Saturday, April 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at DADA member Oak Cliff Cultural Center, 223 W. Jefferson Boulevard. Art cars will be part of the festivities! The event is free and includes a self-guided tour of the art galleries located in the Design District.

DADA Docents Program

Edith Baker Art Scholarship Award Ceremony
Saturday, April 26, 7 p.m.

DADA will present three scholarships that include mentorships, internships and artists’ studio visits, to three visual art students from Dallas-area high schools. Art of the winners and the other finalists will be exhibited April 26-May 10 at Norwood Flynn, 3318 Shorecrest Drive. The Kenneth R. Craighead Jr. and Steven L. Green Foundation for Arts and Education and Edith Baker Arts and Education Fund provide financial support for these scholarships. Reception for Senior Juried Show of Booker T. Washington High School Visual Art Students
Saturday, April 26, 6-8 p.m.

Norwood Flynn Gallery will host a reception for the Senior Juried Show, featuring senior visual art students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. All of the proceeds benefit the student artists and DADA’s Edith Baker Art Scholarship and Artist Career Development Fund. The gallery is located at 3318 Shorecrest Drive.
